About Us
Who we are
IndexTutors is a global directory and marketplace that helps students, parents and adult learners find qualified private tutors — for home tuition in their own neighbourhood or for live online lessons from anywhere in the world. At the same time, we help tutors build a professional profile, get discovered in search and find new tuition jobs every day.
What we do
- Tutor search by location: browse tutors by country, city and even local area so you can find someone who can travel to you.
- Online tutoring: connect with specialists from other countries for subjects, exams and languages that are hard to find locally.
- Free tuition jobs board: students and parents post their requirement for free and interested tutors apply directly.
- Direct messaging: talk to tutors and agree schedules and fees yourself — we never take a commission from your lessons.
Our mission
Great teaching changes lives. Our mission is to make it simple for every learner, in every city, to find the right tutor at a fair price — and to give independent tutors the visibility they deserve.
How we keep the community safe
Every account is authenticated with a verified email or Google sign‑in. Our team reviews reported profiles and tuition posts, and tutors can apply for a verified badge. Read our safety tips before meeting anyone for the first time.
